Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, the “Subscriber”) and LEDLINE PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of the brand alamaaraa at https://alamaaraa.com. By creating a subscription, joining a course channel, or using any part of the service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding contracts under Indian law.
• You must own and operate a valid Telegram account and have not been previously banned by us for violating these Terms.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at checkout (email, phone number, name).

2. What we offer

alamaaraa provides paid access to private Telegram channels organised around IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) programmes, for assignments, past-year question papers, notes, doubt support, and peer discussion. A separate, optional product is our AI study bot, which answers questions over a curated corpus of IGNOU study materials.

We are not IGNOU. We are an independent student community operated by LEDLINE PRIVATE LIMITED. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IGNOU, the Government of India, or any IGNOU regional or study centre. References to IGNOU programmes are descriptive only.

3. Subscriptions and pricing

Subscriptions are sold per IGNOU programme at the following tiers, all in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes (if any):

• 1 month: ₹79
• 3 months: ₹199
• 6 months: ₹344
• 1 year: ₹599

Prices are subject to change. Any change will apply only to subscriptions purchased after the change takes effect; existing subscriptions remain on the price you originally paid.

Subscriptions are not auto-renewing. When your subscription ends, you will be removed from the channel and may purchase a new subscription if you wish to rejoin.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms and privacy policy. We do not store your card or UPI credentials. If your payment is declined or fails for any reason, your subscription will not activate; please try again or use a different payment method.

5. Telegram channel access

• After successful payment we send you a single-use invite link, valid for 24 hours, to the appropriate Telegram channel.
• The invite is bound to your account. Sharing it publicly will not let anyone else in (Telegram allows only one join per link), but attempting to circumvent this is a violation of these Terms.
• If you fail to join within 24 hours, write to support@alamaaraa.com and we will re-mint the invite at no cost.
• Your channel access ends automatically when the subscription expires. Our bot will remove you from the channel within an hour of expiry.

6. User conduct

While inside any alamaaraa channel, you agree NOT to:

• Share, forward, or publish channel content (notes, PYQs, mentor responses, study guides) outside the channel without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the subscription.
• Use the channel for spam, phishing, MLM recruitment, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
• Impersonate IGNOU staff, alamaaraa moderators, or any other person.
• Attempt to extract bulk content programmatically (scrapers, mass-downloaders).
• Upload pirated study materials, copyrighted IGNOU material you do not have the right to share, or anything that infringes a third party’s rights.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your subscription, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse our bot, disrupt other users, or if required by law. Termination for cause is without refund. We may also terminate your subscription with a pro-rata refund if we discontinue the relevant course community for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

You may stop using the service at any time by emailing us and we will end the subscription on your behalf, subject to the Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, copy, illustrations, branding, code, and curated content on alamaaraa and inside our channels are owned by LEDLINE PRIVATE LIMITED or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read this content for the duration of your subscription only. References to IGNOU course codes, programme names, and syllabus content are used for descriptive and educational purposes; all such intellectual property remains with IGNOU.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
• The content inside any channel will result in a particular grade, examination outcome, or admission.
• The AI study bot’s responses are factually correct, current, or sufficient as a sole study aid. They are an aid, not a substitute for IGNOU’s official material.

You use the service at your own risk. You remain solely responsible for your academic performance, assignments, and examinations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LEDLINE PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, employees, and affiliates against any third-party claim, loss, or expense arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kottayam, Kerala. Before initiating legal proceedings, we agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by writing to support@alamaaraa.com; we commit to responding within 14 days.

13. Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, strikes, internet or Telegram outages, government action, or pandemics.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Delivery Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede any prior communications.

15. Changes

We may amend these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated Terms here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance.
